The Celestron C11-SGT (XLT) Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope is the largest aperture advanced telescope in the series and it won’t break the bank!

It is mounted on the heavy duty CG-5 German equatorial mount which provides smooth motion via its precision worm gears and it offers excellent portability, with its heaviest part weighing less than 30 lbs. The C11-SGT (XLT) optical system includes Celestron’s StarBright® XLT coatings and its large aperture offers light gathering capability which is 1593 times stronger than the human eye.

This telescope also features a heavy duty tripod with bigger, more substantial legs offering stable views. The CG-5 mount also includes a latitude scale to make alignment easy as well as an optional polar finder scope.

This telescope features a number of high performance hardware and software features including a 40,000+ object database with 400 user definable objects as well as detailed information on over 200 objects.
